As a parent or carer, you are an important part of our school community. We offer a range of services to support you and your family.
Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C)
Our Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) is made up of parents and carers, teachers and community members. The P&C meets regularly to contribute to decision-making, developing policies and management plans as well as fundraising.
A Message from the P&C President
On behalf of the Lugarno Public School Parents and Citizens Association (P & C) I would like to welcome you and congratulate you on joining our wonderful school community.
The P & C is a group of parents and carers who volunteer their time and skills to assist our Principal, Mrs Justine Williams, and the school in any way we can to enhance the school experience and learning environment for our children. We do this by running the school canteen, uniform shop and numerous fundraising activities.
Through our fundraising activities we can provide financial assistance to a number of school projects. In the past we have conducted community fairs, trivia nights, obstacle-a-thon, school discos and a bingo night. This year we also have an outdoor movie night which should be a wonderful evening.
We have meetings at 7pm on the third Wednesday of the month (during school terms) in the school staff room and everyone is welcome to attend. Everyone is encouraged to participate and share their ideas so that together we can do our very best for our children.
I have found P & C to be a very satisfying and rewarding experience where many great friendships are formed. I look forward to meeting you and working with you here at LPS. Please feel free to contact me any time on firstname.lastname@example.org should you have any questions or suggestions.
Together we can make a positive difference.
