Student opportunities and activities at Lugarno Public School spark imaginations and encourage students to reach beyond the ordinary. Through a wide range of clubs, sports, creative projects, and leadership programs, every child has the chance to pursue their interests, develop confidence, and discover new talents. Here, participation is at the heart of school life, creating memorable experiences and meaningful connections for all.

What we offer

We offer a wide range of programs designed to engage students and support their growth both inside and outside the classroom.

Our students participate in school sports, athletics, and inter-school (PSSA) competitions that promote teamwork and physical health. We have creative and performing arts groups such as Dance, Band, and Choir, which provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents. Cultural activities, excursions, and incursions enrich students’ learning experiences by connecting them with the wider community.

We also encourage students to develop communication skills through public speaking, debating, and spelling bee events. Interest-based clubs like Gardening, Lego, and Tech allow students to explore their passions, while various student leadership roles including Library Monitors, PBL Leaders, Student Representative Council (SRC), Sport House Leaders, and School Leadership positions help build responsibility and confidence.

Additionally, we offer activities tailored to high potential and gifted learners, including enrichment programs like Podcasting, Robotics, and Art, ensuring that every student has opportunities to thrive and develop their unique talents.
