The Challenge aims to encourage a love of reading for leisure and pleasure in students, and to enable them to experience quality literature. It is not a competition but a challenge to each student to read, to read more and to read more widely. The Premier's Reading Challenge (PRC) is open to all NSW students.
The Premier’s Reading Challenge opened on Monday 23rd
February, until Friday 18th September. If you need any assistance logging entries, please feel free to drop into the LPS Library.
This semester during Tech Club, students have been developing their coding skills by programming an “Agent” to build large-scale structures in Minecraft Education. Examples of projects created include aquariums, rollercoasters, and castles, among many others.
The first intake of students will complete the program at the end of Term 2. A second intake of Tech Club students will commence in Week 1 of Term 3 and continue into Term 4, undertaking a similar program.
